Position Summary  

We are looking for a Cyber Security Summer Intern to support ASP Product and Enterprise Security, and Security Operations. Areas of responsibility include build and improve processes and standard work to increase Product and Enterprise Security Scorecards. The ideal candidate will identify and prioritize scorecard metrics, develop action items to improve individual scores, partner with internal teams to drive plans to completion, has a bias for action, is customer obsessed, possesses advanced interpersonal skills, technical aptitude, and is a Team Player. Candidate should be in a technical undergraduate program such as computer science, cybersecurity, data sciences, etc.

 

Duties and Responsibilities   

  1. Work with the Cybersecurity team to improve Cybersecurity Posture for ASP.
  2. Test Web Application Security related to ASP ACCESS Cloud. 
  3. Review existing inbound security data (logs, alerts, etc.) to identify any unusual activities that could indicate a security breach. 
  4. Develop standard work related to minor security events. 
  5. Review Crowdstrike environment and identify gaps in coverage.  
  6. Research Threats and Vulnerabilities within ASP products. 
  7. Review existing Disaster Recovery plans, identify gaps and provide next step recommendations. 
  8. Review data security policies and existing practices. Recommend any immediate actions to address potential cybersecurity issues. 
  9. Develop and conduct a Red Team exercise.
  10. Provide recommendations regarding the use of AI within Cyber Security operations.

Qualification

  1. Enrolled in under grad degree program in Computer - Data related major. 
  2. Programming experience Python, SQL. Knowledge in Java, C# 
  3. Platforms and tools: Git, AWS, Postgres, MySQL, cloud technologies (AWS) 
  4. Knowledge machine learning, data mining 
  5. Web development, application development experience 
  6. Artificial Intelligence experience 
  7. Experience analyzing large datasets 
  8. Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to non- technical people at all levels of the organizations.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (inclusive of sales incentives/commission) is $41,400.00 - $76,900.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
