The Department of Community Corrections and Rehabilitation (DOCCR) IT project management office (PMO) Group within Law, Safety, Justice is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our team. This position will work closely with DOCCR business partners and IT staff, as well as other Law, Safety, Justice partners, to define and create technology solutions for business needs and processes. This work involves facilitating discussions around current business practices, envisioning future processes, leading projects, translating business and technical requirements, testing applications, implementing, and troubleshooting IT solutions, and working with technical staff to deliver solutions.

Location and hours:
This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at these locations: 701 4th Avenue South Minneapolis, MN 55415, Adult Corrections Facility located at 1145 Shenandoah Lane, Plymouth, MN 55447, and at Client and Community Restoration located at 3000 2nd Street North, Minneapolis, MN 55417, and remote as job duties require. Supervisors will provide as much advance notice as practicable. This internship is intended to start in July 2024 and last 6 months in duration with the potential to extend on a case-by-case basis. The intern will work 20 hours per week. Work hours will typically be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., with flexibility.
While this position is designed as hybrid, based on current requirements hires reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.
