Description

We are looking for a Software Engineering student to join our team of Summer 2025 Interns. Our internships are full-time, paid, and will run from May 19th through August 1st, 2025. This role will work collaboratively, daily with all of our Engineering groups. The internship assignment is designed to provide the student real-life work experience and training in the day-to-day activities in a manufacturing facility. Our internships are part of our recruiting strategy to attract and retain highly qualified talent.

This position is Safety Sensitive.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Work on assigned projects with support from your mentor/supervisor/team member
  • Design, test, and develop the software to meet requirements
  • Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs
  • Create various diagrams, flowcharts, and models that illustrate the type of code needed for programmers
  • Ensure continued functionality of a program during maintenance and testing of software
  • Revisit the development process to fix bugs or address client concerns

Requirements

  

Education

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to work effectively with others and meet deadlines and goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and self-starter.
